Medical Assistant- Gynecology Position Available In Suffolk, Massachusetts

Under the general supervision of the designated supervisor (depending onthe location) and in collaboration with a clinical overseer, whereapplicable, the Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting in thedelivery of high quality and safe clinical care. S/he will assist withpatient care and operational flow by performing clerical and clinicalduties as needed within the scope of their training and applicable tothe kind of practice and patient population. The MA I will organize workto enhance patient satisfaction and provider efficiency. S/he willcollaborate with providers for daily needs/schedule coordination, byreviewing provider schedule and anticipating patient, provider andappointment needs at the time of the patient visit, keep visits runningon time, communicate delays with patients, manage same-day scheduleadditions, ensure exam rooms are properly supplied and provide supportfor patient forms completion. The MA I is responsible for following andsustaining all workflows, standard work, policies, and procedures. Theperformance of the Medical Assistant I in the delivery of empathetic andefficient care and service will have a direct impact on our overallpatient satisfaction. The Medical Assistant works in collaboration withthe physician(s), other health care provider(s), and other ambulatorysupport staff within the department and with other disciplines todeliver patient care.
