Certified Medical Assistant Community Neuroscience Services 123 Summer Street, Worcester, MA 01608 We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in medical terminology and Cardiology. This role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated and detail-oriented professional to contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities:

• Assist physicians and other healthcare professionals in providing patient care and treatment.
• Prepare patients for examinations and treatments by taking vital signs, and performing EKG’s.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including patient histories and medical charts.
• Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care.
• Provide patient education and support, including providing instructions on medication use and post-operative care.
• Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, adhering to infection control protocols.
• Utilize electronic systems and software to manage patient records and coordinate care.
• Assist with prescription refills
• Triage patient phone calls/Messages
• Provides cross coverage for other administrative roles, i.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Completion of a medical assistant training program or equivalent experience.
• Current certification or Registration as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or Certified Clinical
• Experience in cardiology preferred..
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic life support certification.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
