Summary As a Medical Assistant at Novus LifeCare in Kansas City, MO, you will play a vital role in supporting our healthcare team and ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care. Your contributions will directly impact the well-being of our patients and their families. Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs and preparing patients for exams. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Support the coordination of patient care by communicating with healthcare team members. Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention strategies. Ensure a clean and safe working environment by adhering to infection control protocols. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy. Experience in geriatrics or home health care is a plus. Excellent communication skills for effective patient interaction.
