Medical Assistant Job Overview:

As a front-line representative of the practice, you will play a key role in creating a welcoming and positive experience for patients. We are looking for someone who consistently brings enthusiasm, professionalism, and a friendly attitude to all interactions with patients and coworkers. In this role, you will be responsible for performing essential back-office clinical functions, including: Assisting providers during examinations and treatments Interviewing patients and documenting medical histories Measuring and recording vital signs such as pulse, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height Accurately entering patient information into the EMR (Electronic Medical Records) system

Preferred Qualifications:

Completion of a formal Medical Assistant training program (certificate from an accredited institution) CPR certification Proficiency with PCs and Windows-based applications Familiarity with medical coding Strong interpersonal and communication skills A team player who prioritizes patient comfort, satisfaction, and a positive workplace culture

$18.00 – $23.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week
