CRHS is looking to hire a Medical Assistant for Advanced Urology Clinic in Leland , NC.

Job Description:

Performs clinical duties as they pertain to office. Performs routine medical procedures and tests in conjunction with patient visits and assists the Physician/Advanced Clinical Practitioner as necessary. Spends approximately 50% of the time acting as a scribe for the Physician.

Qualifications:

High school graduate or equivalent. Certified as a CMA, RMA, or CCMA. If not certified as those listed about, you must be a graduate of an approved program in medical assisting and meet all eligibility requirements for certification as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant. If a recent graduate of an approved program of medical assistant, s/he must obtain certification as a CMA, RMA, or CCMA (within 2 years of employment). Current BLS Certification. Will be required to demonstrate competence in the performance of duties specific to all age groups of patients.

Preferred:

Experience in a physician office.

Experience:

1 year of experience as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant. Preferably experience be in a physician office setting. Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR). Perks +
