GEM Neurology – Clinton, TNGEM Neurology, a clinic specializing in Parkinson’s disease and other movement disorders, epilepsy, chronic stroke management, dementia, and headaches, is thrilled to announce our opening and is seeking a Medical Assistant (MA) to join our growing team. Important RequirementWe are only offering interviews to candidates who are Certified Medical Assistants (CMA or RMA) with prior experience in handling medication prior authorizations using CoverMyMeds.

Specialized, Patient-Centered Environment:

Work closely with Dr. Zayas in a focused, single-provider neurology clinic Primary Responsibilities Rooming new patients, checking vital signs, and reviewing medications and allergies Completing prior authorizations for medications Updating medication lists and maintaining accurate EMR documentation using Tebra Coordinating imaging studies Handling patient phone calls and triaging clinical messages within 24 hours Faxing referrals and supporting daily clinical tasks Opportunities for Growth Salary increases tied to performance and cost-of-living trends 12 days of Paid Time Off (PTO) per year 6 paid holidays Annual performance bonuses after 1 year of employment Who Should Apply?
