Full Job Description Hours:
8:00 – 5:00 Monday – Friday, 40 hours per week

The Medical Assistant will work in the capacity of a paraprofessional, assisting in a clinical setting, providing services to clients, maintaining supplies, and performing clerical duties.

Vital signs Patient history intake Procedures (immunizations, catherization, EKG’s) Appointment scheduling Stocking rooms
Inventory Education/Experience:
Associate’s degree in Medical Assisting from an accredited program and current licensure to practice as a RMA/CMA. Current CPR certification. 1-2 years of experience working in a family medicine setting. Fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
General knowledge of clinic procedures, vital signs, and procedures Knowledge of basic public health programs, policies, and basic physical and behavioral health problems Possess ability to move patients about and perform healthcare work in a clinical setting Ability to practice proper hygiene, sanitization and adhere to OSHA practices/techniques Must be able to solve problems within scope of responsibility Our Mission To improve individual and community health through services, education, and collaborative action.
