JOB RELATIONSHIPS
Responsible to Administrator.
DEFINITION OF POSITION
The primary role of this position is to facilitate efficient patient flow throughout the department. Maintain neat, clean, and safe patient care areas. Assist with administrative tasks and perform accurate and timely medication administration as delegated by the nurse per NCBON and hospital policy.
QUALIFICATIONS
Professional Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant Program. Some knowledge of third party billing. Medical terminology. Recognition of physical exam process and ability to record exam details. Proficiency with computer applications and typing. Ability to maintain confidential medical information BLS for Healthcare Providers certified. Current AHA BLS certification required.
