Medical Assistant Peachtree ENT and Facial Plastics Murphy, NC 28906 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient service and assisting healthcare professionals in delivering high-quality care. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, particularly in settings such as geriatrics, internal medicine, or trauma centers. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Measure and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse. Administer medications as directed by physicians or nurse practitioners. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and ensuring their comfort. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with medical standards. Utilize medical terminology effectively when communicating with patients and staff. Support the clinical team in managing patient flow within the office or facility. Ensure cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive patient care. Qualifications Previous experience as a Medical Assistant is preferred. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and procedures. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient service. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Medical Assistant (CMA) or equivalent is preferred but not required. Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and practices within the healthcare field.
