Key Responsibilities :

Clinical Duties :

Take and record patient vital signs (blood pressure, temperature, weight, etc.). Administer injections, perform diagnostic tests, and assist with minor medical procedures. Draw blood and collect specimens for laboratory testing. Sterilize and maintain medical equipment. Prepare and maintain examination rooms. Input patient information into Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems.

Administrative & Clerical Duties :

Schedule patient appointments and follow-up visits. Provide excellent customer service, addressing patient inquiries and concerns. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure proper documentation in EMR systems. Assist with medical billing and coding tasks as needed.

Collaboration & Patient Care :

Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide optimal care. Ensure all patient care activities align with established policies, quality standards, and clinical guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors or as required to ensure the efficient operation of the healthcare facility.

Required Qualifications :

Experience :

Less than 2 years of experience in back-office, direct patient care as a Medical Assistant. Ability to work effectively in a high-volume, fast-paced healthcare environment.

Certifications & Licenses :

Current certification as a Medical Assistant (RMA/CMA) or eligibility to obtain certification. Current CPR certification (Basic Life Support). Must pass a Tuberculosis (TB) screening as part of the Humana/Senior Bridge Tuberculosis screening program.

Skills & Knowledge :

Proficiency with MS Outlook and basic computer applications. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse patient populations. Strong attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.

Language :
