You will work closely with our dermatologists and support staff to ensure that our patients receive an excellent experience during their visits. Responsibilities Prepare patients for examinations by obtaining medical histories and measuring vital signs. Assist the physician during dermatological examinations and procedures, ensuring all equipment and supplies are readily available. Perform basic lab tests and handle specimen management for efficient laboratory processing. Maintain accurate and confidential patient records, including documentation of visits and procedures. Schedule appointments and manage office communication efficiently. Educate patients about their treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines. Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies. Requirements High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred. Previous experience in a medical assistant role, preferably in dermatology. Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to dermatology practices. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective interaction with patients and staff. Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and handle sensitive information with professionalism. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical environment.
