We are seeking a Full-Time Medical Assistant based in our Greensboro office. This position will work primarily in Pain Management. Ideal candidates will have 2 years of experience in a busy neurosurgery or pain management practice. You must be able to multi-task and remain flexible to ever-changing physician and patient needs. This position requires excellent communication skills with all levels of patients and staff, strong decision-making skills and is a self-starter who can work effectively in a team environment.

Clinical Responsibilities:

Rooms patients; obtains vitals, medical history, medication records, and chief complaint. Assists physicians and APPs with clinics and various procedures. Maintains and updates patient records using EMR. Experience with Next Gen is a plus. Completes phone triage. Performs routine office procedures. Provides patient education. Complies with all our processes and HIPAA regulations. Applies our values in decision-making and interactions with all individuals. Promotes a positive work environment through effective teamwork. Other duties as assigned by changing needs, patient flow, or physician request.
