PM Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Medical Assistant to support clinical operations in both front and back office settings. The ideal candidate will be skilled in patient care, administrative tasks, and demonstrate strong communication and clinical abilities.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet and room patients Take vitals and perform EKGs Draw blood and administer vaccines Perform point-of-care (POC) testing Assist with patient scheduling and documentation in the EMR system Answer phones and provide general clinical and administrative support Collaborate effectively with healthcare team members to ensure smooth operations
Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years of Medical Assistant experience (excluding externship) Medical Assistant Certification strongly preferred Occupational Health experience strongly preferred Proficient in phlebotomy/venipuncture Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) Strong computer and communication skills Must be detail-oriented and passionate about patient care and health education BLS or CPR certification required
