May 1, 2025 Current Team Member Job Description ECU Health About ECU Health Physicians ECU Health Physicians is multi-specialty group with over 600 providers in more than 140 primary and specialty clinics across more than 110 locations in eastern North Carolina. Position Summary Coordinates clinic operations and assist providers by performing vital signs, patient questionnaire intake, data entry and medical records management. Assists with and provides patient care services and customer services as necessary. Maintains all patient care related documentation in hard copy and/or electronic medical records. Must demonstrate skill in clinical duties such as vitals, health history and other clinical duties as directed by clinicians. Possesses time management skills and the ability to manage and perform multiple tasks and assist patients and providers as necessary. Minimum Requirements American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
High School, equivalent or higher is required One of the 2 certifications are required: 1. Certified medical assistant through the American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
2. Registered medical assistant through the American Medical Technologists (AMT) Preferred one or more years experience in a clinical or medical office setting. Other Information Full time with benefits

  • 36 hours per week Day shift: Monday
  • Thursday, 8 am
  • 5 pm, Friday, 8 am
