Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified or Registered Medical Assistant to support a dynamic clinical team. This is a full-time float role based primarily in the Ballantyne location, with occasional coverage at the Midtown site. The role is patient-facing and requires strong communication skills, professionalism, and the ability to work in a fast-paced healthcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Administer patient injections and provide self-injection education
Confirm insurance authorizations and verify current patient labs
Schedule patient appointments for injection therapy
Support clinical staff with patient intake and rooming as needed
Ensure clear communication with patients regarding treatment plans
Flex between locations based on team needs and patient volume
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Certified or Registered Medical Assistant
Proficient in administering injections and engaging in patient education
Background in endocrinology or rheumatology preferred
Must have an upbeat, professional demeanor and strong verbal communication skills
Familiarity with EMR systems (NextGen experience is a plus)
COVID-19
