Position Summary Under the overall supervision of the Vice President . The Assistant to the VP, provides expedient, cost-effective to Administrative services. As a member of a team of healthcare professionals, The Assistant to VP provides administrative assistance and clerical functions and support of special programs. Assistant to VP must behave in a manner consistent with the standards and ethics of all healthcare professionals. In addition to performing administrative duties, the Assistant to VP is involved in the daily routine functions of running an office and assisting with appointments, correspondence, answering phone calls, meeting with department managers and visitors from the outside. Assistant to VP assumes multiple responsibilities and maintain confidentiality of all work. Must have positive interpersonal communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing with people of various educational levels and backgrounds.
