Job Description

Medical Assistant

NCCRM 400

Ashville Avenue, Cary, NC 27518

Responsibilities:
  • Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care
  • Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting specimens
  • Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
  • Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient information
  • Ensure a clean and organized medical environment
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols Performing urinalysis and other tests Ordering labs and pathology tests in a timely manner Calling in medications Returning calls and questions from patients Assisting doctors, PA, and our other providers in
IVF/OBGYN

procedures Restocking medical supplies

Requirements:
  • Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting(preferred)
  • Basic life support (BLS) certification(Preferred) EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
  • Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
  • Experience in taking vital signs and performing basic medical procedures
  • Knowledge of medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
  • Familiarity with medication administration and dosage calculations
