Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care
- Perform basic medical procedures such as taking vital signs, administering medications, and collecting specimens
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient information
- Ensure a clean and organized medical environment
- Follow infection control and safety protocols Performing urinalysis and other tests Ordering labs and pathology tests in a timely manner Calling in medications Returning calls and questions from patients Assisting doctors, PA, and our other providers in
IVF/OBGYN
procedures Restocking medical supplies
Requirements:
- Certification or diploma in Medical Assisting(preferred)
- Basic life support (BLS) certification(Preferred) EMR systems: 1 year (Preferred)
- Proficiency in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Strong patient service skills with the ability to provide compassionate care
- Experience in taking vital signs and performing basic medical procedures
- Knowledge of medical administrative tasks, such as scheduling appointments and managing patient records
- Familiarity with medication administration and dosage calculations
