Medical Assistant Alexander N. Newman MD PA Cary, NC 27518 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our medical staff and ensuring that patients receive high-quality care in a clinical setting. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Will be crossed trained to work front office duties Duties Assist healthcare professionals with patient examinations and procedures. Take and record patient vital signs, medical histories, and other relevant information. Prepare patients for examinations by explaining procedures and answering questions. Administer medications and injections as directed by the physician. Perform basic laboratory tests, EKG’S, draw blood Maintain cleanliness and organization of the clinic or office environment. Schedule appointments, manage patient records, and handle billing tasks. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times. Collaborate with other healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.
