Medical Assisting responsibilities include patient vitals, administering injections, EKG, phlebotomy (optional) and EMR documentation. Counseling responsibilities include diet review with new and existing patients, product and injection knowledge, care calls and follow ups to current and slipping patients on our program.
Administrative Duties:
Conducts follow up calls to patients to discuss the patient’s progress and address any concerns. Ensure that each patient receives outstanding service by providing a friendly environment, which includes greeting and acknowledging every patient, maintaining outstanding standards, solid product knowledge and all other aspects of customer service. Assist with daily monitoring of inventory levels of all clinical and office supplies. Daily scanning and uploading of documents in Patient files. Trains additional staff on daily procedures. Assist check in and check out procedure.
Clinical Duties:
Obtains patient’s vitals, administer injections, EKG and Phlebotomy (optional). Prepares laboratory order forms. Documents patient progress notes in the patient chart in our EMR. Performs other clinical duties as required.
