Medical Assistant Dermatology Prejuve Medspa and Wellness Cary, NC 27518 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Aesthetic Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our physician in providing high-quality patient care. This position involves working in a clinical environment where you will assist with various aesthetic and laser procedures, phlebotomy, patient assessments, and administrative tasks. A strong background in medical settings, particularly in dermatology or related fields, is preferred. Duties Assist physician during examinations and aesthetic procedures. Prepare patients for their appointments by taking vital signs and medical histories. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR). Educate patients on skincare routines and post-procedure care. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment, ensuring all equipment is sterilized and ready for use. Schedule patient appointments and manage follow-up visits effectively. Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Requirements Previous experience in a clinical setting, preferably within dermatology, aesthetic or internal medicine/family practice/Gyn. Proficient in taking vital signs and understanding basic medical terminology. Ability to perform phlebotomy, cosmetic laser procedures as needed (training will be provided). Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients effectively. Attention to detail and excellent organizational skills are essential for managing patient records and appointments.
