Old St Road, Peterborough, NH 03458 Overview We are a busy four-provider OB/GYN medical practice in Peterborough, NH. The Medical Assistant supports the providers through exemplary patient care and service. Duties and Responsibilities Greeting and welcoming patients Checking vital signs Organizing and coordinating patient intake and other appointments Accurately entering/updating patient demographics information in system Accurately entering/updating patient information and history in our electronic medical record Scanning, updating and filing medical records Answering phone calls, patient questions, etc. in a prompt and polite manner Qualifications High School Diploma Current CMA license, current LNA license, or prior experience as a medical assistant required Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills Detail-oriented and a team player Computer Proficiency and superior keyboarding skills Happy, welcoming, and can-do attitude with patients and co-workers Flexible/adaptable nature to work in a continuously evolving environment Ability to effectively interact with physicians, patients and other staff members Prior phlebotomy experience preferred Physical Requirements Ability to sit and stand for periods of time
