Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Balanced Health Hormone Replacement Therapy and Weight Loss Hammonton, NJ 08037 At Balanced Health, we’re proud to set the standard for comprehensive wellness services for men and women in the South Jersey area. We’re currently seeking a certified medical assistant or LPN to join this group of caring professionals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in a patient-oriented medical environment. With superior communication skills, the medical assistant or LPN will further our tradition of excellent patient-centered healthcare and be driven in making the patient experience as comfortable, efficient, and rewarding as possible. Objectives of this role Cultivate a safe, secure, and healthy environment for patients and colleagues, and enhance the quality of service and care provided Understand the provider-to-patient flow to better assist our care team of nurse practitioners and health coach in maintaining an efficient, productive office Develop and maintain relationships of confidence and trust with patients Help answer patient questions and address their concerns before, during, and after starting care with us Update and maintain electronic patient medical records accurately and securely Flexibility to adapt to multiple roles within the care setting Responsibilities Maintain a clean office space and prepare patient care rooms prior to each appointment Interact with patients professionally, measure vital signs, update information and changes in medical history, and prepare them for their patient care experience with us. Maintain patient records for clinical use, billing, and provider review. Keep medical supplies well stocked, placing orders when necessary. Develop and maintain accurate databases for scheduling appointments, communicating with patients, managing knowledge, mitigating error, and supporting decision-making Contribute to process improvements by taking an active role in patient experiences and satisfaction Willingness to learn our unique style of wellness care and be able to educate patients on the therapies they have chosen Required skills and qualifications Certification or Associate’s degree as a medical assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) One or more years of experience as a medical assistant at a healthcare facility Excellent communication and organizational skills Excellent phone skills Working knowledge of electronic medical records Proven ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues High levels of professionalism and dedication to patient-centered care Certification and experience to perform phlebotomy Certification and experience to perform intramuscular or subcutaneous injections Strong working knowledge of inventory management Excellent customer service skills Please submit your resume through Indeed and we will contact you if we feel you are an ideal candidate.
