Medical Assistant

• Millburn Job Description We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant to join our primary care office.

The role involves performing phlebotomy and blood draws, providing compassionate care to patients, and supporting back office functions. Responsibilities Conduct phlebotomy and blood draws to ensure accurate laboratory results. Provide compassionate care to patients, addressing their concerns and queries. Update patient information, including family histories and previous visit notes. Perform intakes for patients and room loading duties. Conduct vital checks and medication reconciliation. Prepare charts prior to patient visits. Prepare patient rooms for consultations and treatments. Restock rooms and supply closets, and manage inventory. Triage phone calls to address physician and patient questions. Update patient records and electronic medical records using EPIC. Essential Skills Minimum of 1 year experience as a Medical Assistant. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) with an accredited diploma from a Medical Assistant school. Experience with Electronic Medical Records Additional Skills & Qualifications Phlebotomy experience is required. Strong organizational skills. Patient, detail-oriented, and eager to learn. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00

• $24.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
