Our Medical Assistant will work directly with the healthcare practice staff to intake patients, maintain patient records, explain common medical procedures to patients and assist in basic examinations.

Responsibilities Include:

Working with physicians in OR Updating and maintaining all patient records Recording patient information such as vital signs, weight and changes in medical history prior to each appointment Cleaning and preparing examination rooms prior to patient appointments Assisting the physicians in maintaining the medical inventory and placing orders for new materials as needed Preparing and organizing charts for physicians Following up on required medical records as needed by physicians and clinical staff Reviewing surgical clearance/ primary care physician records

Qualifications:

• Knowledge of medical terminology required
• 1+ years experience in orthopedics or pain management preferred
• Travel between local offices is a requirement of this position Competitive benefits and compensation offered
