Role:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support patient care in a busy multi-specialty outpatient setting. This position involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities and requires the ability to float between nearby clinic locations.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare exam and treatment rooms with necessary supplies and instruments Assist physicians during patient exams and procedures Obtain and document vital signs (BP, temperature, pulse, etc.) Perform and assist with lab tests such as EKGs, PFTs, audiometry, Titmus, UDS, BAT, and phlebotomy after appropriate training Maintain and file patient medical records accurately Support billing and collection procedures when necessary Utilize computer software to maintain scheduling and patient documentation systems Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients and caregivers Provide care that is culturally and developmentally appropriate
Qualifications:
Required:
High school diploma or GED BLS certification (American Heart Association) One of the following national certifications: CMA (AAMA, NHA, or NCCT) RMA (AMT or NAHP) NCMA (National Certification Medical Association) AMCA (American Medical Certification Association)
