Genesis Laboratory Management is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Medical Assistant to join our team in a urology office setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assisting with patient care, including urine collection and specimen processing, while ensuring compliance with medical protocols and patient confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate a Mercedes Sprinter Van collection vehicle Collect urine specimens from patients in a professional and compassionate manner Accurately label and process specimens for laboratory analysis Perform laboratory urinalysis on patient specimens Communicate urinalysis results with ordering provider Prepare patient specimens for additional testing when applicable Maintain patient records and ensure proper documentation Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including infection control procedures Assist with basic patient care tasks as needed Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive patient experience Ensure compliance with HIPAA and company policies Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent required Valid driver’s license in good standing Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred but not required Previous experience in a medical office, urology practice, or laboratory setting is a plus Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict medical protocols Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems is a plus
