Medical Assistant Happiness Pediatrics – 2.0 Brooklyn, NY Job Details Part-time | Full-time $20 – $25 an hour 1 hour ago Qualifications Mandarin English Entry level Full Job Description We are an established private pediatrics-based practice located in Brooklyn, NY searching for a medical assistant. Full time candidates have 5 working days from 9:30 AM to 5:30 PM (weekend as needed). Part time candidates are welcome.

Job Responsibilities:

Obtains vital signs, weights, and all other tests within the scope of the practice. Assist with blood collection/phlebotomy as needed. Prepare vaccines for providers to administer Performs other duties as assigned. Assists patients and communicate with Physicians to obtain prescription renewals as needed. Maintain vaccination protocol and refrigerator/freezer according to CIR guideline Cleans and sterilizes designated equipment after use. Assists physicians with procedures Ensures exam rooms and treatment areas are cleaned after each patient leaves and prepared for the next patient. Assists with light housekeeping duties which include spills. Stocks exam room/treatment rooms with medical supplies, linen, and designated chart forms. Notify the Office Manager when supplies are low. Assist physician taking history from patients Assist with maintaining patient flow to and from exam rooms and treatment areas. Assists in escorting patients and specimens throughout the facility

Minimum Qualifications:

Must be able to speak English and Mandarin. 1-2 years of relevant experience preferred Ability to handle a fast-paced environment Ability to draw blood from children and/or infant – training can be provided if needed
