Position Overview:

We are seeking an Experienced Medical Assistant with a strong background in plastic surgery . This role involves both clinical and administrative responsibilities, assisting in consultations, in-office procedures, minor surgeries, and ensuring smooth pre- and post-op patient care.

Responsibilities:

Assist surgeon with in-office procedures (e.g., liposuction, labioplasty, local anesthesia surgeries) Prepare and maintain treatment rooms, instruments, and supplies Document patient history, vitals, and treatment plans in EMR system Provide pre-op and post-op patient education and support Monitor patients during procedures under physician guidance Coordinate patient scheduling, surgical bookings, and follow-ups Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and OSHA standards Manage inventory and sterilization of surgical tools Handle lab work coordination and surgical consents

Qualifications:

Minimum 2 years’ experience in a plastic surgery, dermatology, or cosmetic practice Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred Experience with EMR systems (eClinicalWorks, Nextech, or similar) BLS/CPR certification required (ACLS preferred) Knowledge of sterile technique, surgical assisting, and aesthetic procedures Polished, professional demeanor with excellent bedside manner Comfortable with fast-paced, detail-oriented work environment

Bonus Skills:

Phlebotomy IV insertion or PRP experience Bilingual (Spanish, Russian, or French preferred)

Schedule & Compensation:

Monday-Friday Very Competitive salary based on experience Benefits available after probationary period (health)
