Responsibilities:

Room patients and measure vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, temperature, etc.) Prepare patients for examinations and assist during medical procedures Collect and prepare laboratory specimens and perform basic lab tests Administer medications and injections as directed by a physician Update and maintain patient records in electronic medical systems (EHR/EMR) Schedule appointments and manage front-desk administrative duties Ensure exam rooms are clean, stocked, and organized Follow all HIPAA and OSHA regulations to maintain a safe, confidential environment

Requirements:

High School Diploma or equivalent required; Medical Assistant certification preferred (CMA, RMA, or CCMA) 1+ year of experience in a clinical or outpatient setting preferred Familiarity with medical terminology and electronic health record systems (e.g., Epic, Athenahealth) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team environment
