Medical Office Assistant Position Available In Onondaga, New York

Move Forward with Volt Volt is immediately hiring for a Medical Office Assistant in Syracuse NY. Direct Hire Excellent Company Culture As a Medical Office Assistant you will: Prepare treatment rooms and assist with patient intake Record vital signs, medications, and medical history Enter orders, obtain insurance authorizations, and manage referrals Sterilize instruments and restock rooms Answer phones and assist patients with forms and questions Schedule appointments and maintain medical records Support referral team and float to other areas as needed Follow clinical guidance from the Nurse Manager Adhere to all office policies and procedures This is a full-time, Direct Hire opportunity. Monday – Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm with potential for evenings and weekends in the future.

The ideal candidate will have:

High school diploma or equivalent Completion of a Medical Assistant or Medical Office Assistant program, or 1 year of related experience Current BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross) Knowledge of medical terminology and office procedures Experience with electronic medical records Epic EMR experience

Salary:
