Certified Medical Assistant Full Job Description Responsibilities:

Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection accurately and efficiently Prepare patients for examinations and assist providers during exams/procedures Record vital signs, patient histories, and maintain accurate documentation in EMR systems•familiarity with eClinicalWorks a plus Maintain exam room cleanliness and ensure all equipment is properly stocked and sanitized Provide excellent patient care with professionalism, empathy, and attention to detail

Requirements:

We are looking for a seasoned Medical Assistant with strong phlebotomy skills and prior experience in a physician’s office or hospital clinic setting . This role requires someone who can hit the ground running with minimal training — someone who understands the pace and demands of a clinical setting and can provide high-quality support from day one. Certified or Registered Medical Assistant (CMA/RMA preferred) Phlebotomy experience is required Minimum 2 years of experience in a physician’s office or hospital-based clinic Ability to work independently and step confidently into a fast-paced clinical environment Excellent communication and organizational skills EMR experience preferred
