The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting the medical staff in various clinical and administrative tasks. This position requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology, as well as experience in patient care settings such as hospitals or outpatient clinics. Duties Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs and medical histories. Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians. Perform basic laboratory tests and assist with diagnostic procedures. Maintain accurate patient records and documentation in compliance with regulations. Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Educate patients on treatment plans, medications, and follow-up care. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment. Collaborate with nursing staff to provide comprehensive patient care in areas such as PICU, dermatology, or medical-surgical units. Requirements Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology is essential. Previous experience in a hospital or clinical setting is preferred. Familiarity with inpatient care practices and protocols. Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Certification as a Medical Assistant, Covid Vaccine Card, Active BLS cert.
