The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and experienced in a fast-paced clinical setting. This is an onsite position based in Westchester County, NY.

Medical Assistant Responsibilities and Duties:

Room patients, measure and record vital signs, and accurately document medical history and current medications. Perform routine clinical tasks including blood pressure monitoring, blood draws, EKGs, and medication authorizations. Support providers with patient care and assist during examinations and minor procedures. Communicate with patients to answer questions, provide follow-up instructions, and relay provider recommendations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to maintain efficient patient flow and scheduling. Maintain accurate records using EPIC or a similar electronic medical record system, ensuring compliance with documentation standards.

Medical Assistant Qualifications and Skills:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Medical Assistant, preferably in internal medicine, family medicine, or primary care. Experience with blood pressure readings, blood draws, EKGs, and medication prior authorizations is required. Proficiency in EPIC or other electronic health records. Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred. Strong attention to detail, multitasking abilities, and excellent communication skills.
