This position involves managing clinical operations, supervising clinical staff, and ensuring quality care for residents. This position is expected to be on site at designated communities five days per week. This role will support our Personal Care Homes and Assisted Living locations in the Pittsburgh, PA market.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides overall support of the nursing departments for multiple locations. Responsible for supporting the Administrator and clinical leadership at each location.
  • Manages the healthcare operations at designated locations to ensure resident’s clinical needs are met. Ensures follow up on pharmacy recommendations and current physician orders are reflected in medication administration records on an ongoing basis.
  • Schedules and performs regular rounds to monitor and evaluate the quality and appropriateness of nursing care; completes regular reviews of resident charts and associated documentation to identify areas of improvement.
  • Assists in development and implementation of the written staffing plan and nursing schedule that reflects the needs of the resident and patient population.
  • Monitors, performs, and manages quality assurance processes including those supporting compliance to regulatory and/or accreditation standards.
  • Oversee incident response process at designated locations and ensure compliance with company notification and investigation processes.
  • Function as a clinical resource to the nursing administration team at each community.
Qualifications:
  • Compassion for and desire to work with seniors!
  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) issued by the State Board of Nursing.
  • Associates or bachelor’s degree in nursing from accredited college, preferred. Must have 3+ years’ experience as Nursing Leader in Assisted Living, Personal Care, or long term care.
  • Prior multi-site experience a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
