Medical Assistant Position Available In Allegheny, Pennsylvania

Medical Assistant Brentwood Medical Group 3720 Brownsville Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15227 As a Medical Assistant you will be responsible for providing administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the medical office. You will support doctors and patients through a variety of tasks related to patient care management, organization and communication. The target is to complete all activities accurately, with high quality and in a timely manner. Average daily work flow is 20 patients per day for each position, Adults only. All candidates subject to background check. Hours are 8 am to 4 pm, Monday to Friday, No Weekends, 6 Paid Holidays, Lunch provided almost Daily. Health/Dental/Vision Insurance for yourself, 401K with matching after first year. PTO available after first 90 days. Possible cross training to the Front desk in the future. Responsibilities Organize and schedule appointments Update and file medical records and insurance reports (Prior Authorizations) Verify Medication List with Vital Signs on each patient Assist during medical examinations Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and form Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant Knowledge of medical office management systems and procedures Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills Proficiency in MS Office and patient management software Degree in medical assistance
