Job Summary:

Medical Assistant must be motivated, andable to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive manner.

Must have the ability to communicate and work with a diversepopulation. Maintain patient records, prepare examination roomsbefore physicians or nurses need them, assist with exams, completeassignments such as blood drawing, coding administering medicationsand taking.

Task Responsibilities:

• Include but are not limited to:
• Obtain and record patient medical histories, vitals, testresults, and other information for medical records whilemaintaining strict confidentiality.
• Greet and check in inpatients arriving at the clinic. Prepare patients to be seen byprovider.
• Prepare treatment rooms for clinical examinations andassist practitioners with medical procedures and other patientcare.
• Deliver compassionate support, attention, and assistance topatients and families.
• Ensure compliance with all health careregulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
• Prepare and administermedications for patients as directed by provider.
• Run P.O.C.tests as requested by the provider and collect and prepare labspecimens.
• Clean and sterilize instruments and dispose ofcontaminated supplies.

Requirements:

Required:

• HS Diploma or GEDand completion of a certified medical assistant program,Certification as a Medical Assistant preferred
• Minimum of 1 yearof experience working as a Medical Assistant in a clinical setting
• Minimum of 1 year of EPIC experience
• Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills
