JOB TITLE

: Medical Assistant

GENERAL SUMMARY OF DUTIES

: The Medical Assistant is responsible for assisting with all functions associated with the patient care team. These duties include scheduling, patient preparation, recording vitals and general help within the Surgical Services department. The employee must be an effective communicator in written and verbal communication and have the ability to work effectively with medical staff and coworkers.

REQUIREMENTS

: Two years of related experience in a healthcare organization. Certification Required.
