Medical Assistant York Pain Center York, PA 17402 Duties

• Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care in a medical setting
• Perform medical administrative support tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records
• Take and record vital signs, including blood pressure, temperature, and pulse
• Prepare patients for examinations and procedures
• Assist with inbound phone messages
• Collect and prepare laboratory specimens for testing
• Front Desk
• Collecting patient payments, scheduling future appointments, providing the patient with accurate billing information, collecting patient demographics.
• Provide basic patient education on topics such as medication instructions and healthy lifestyle choices
• Assist with charting, pre-charting, and other administrative activities Experience
• Previous experience working in a medical office setting
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
• Proficient in performing vital signs measurements accurately
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems
• Ability to provide compassionate and attentive patient care
• Basic life support certification preferred This position requires a Medical Assistant who is detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
