Full-time, Monday-Friday 8:00-5:00 Pay Range (includes $1/hr float differential): 0-2 years of experience: $24.50/hr 3-5 years: $24.21/hr 6-9 years: $24.93/hr 10+ years: $25.68/hr

Overview:

Our client is seeking a well-rounded Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) to support its outpatient care teams in both Beaufort and Bluffton. This float position offers variety and the opportunity to work with a full range of patient populations—from pediatrics to geriatrics—in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Room patients and prepare them for provider visits Take and document medical histories, vitals, and chief complaints Assist with clinical procedures and exams Administer injections and collect specimens Perform EKGs and handle basic point-of-care testing Support overall clinical flow and ensure exam rooms are clean and stocked Use EMR systems to document care and support patient communication

Qualifications:

Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program CPR/BLS certification Experience across pediatric through geriatric patient populations Strong communication skills and attention to detail Flexibility to float between Beaufort and Bluffton locations As South Carolina’s only comprehensive academic health system, our client offers an inclusive, collaborative work environment where your clinical skills and compassion will make a difference.
