Responsible for administrative duties in addition topatient care. The Medical Assistant 2 performs varied activitiesand moderately complex administrative, operational, and customersupport assignments. Typically works on semi-routine assignments.

The Medical Assistant 2 performs clinical duties such as discussingsymptoms, obtaining vital signs, medication/vaccine administration,phlebotomy, collecting specimens, performing diagnostic screeningtests, sterilizing/cleaning equipment, maintaining examinationrooms, and documenting information into the electronic medicalrecords system. Collaborates closely with Physicians and AdvancedPractice Providers. Delivers direct patient care dependent on whatactive certification allows. Decisions typically focus oninterpretation of area/department policy and methods for completingassignments. Works within defined parameters to identify workexpectations and quality standards, but has latitude overprioritization/timing, and works under minimal direction. Followsstandard policies and procedures that allow opportunity forinterpretation/deviation and/or independent discretion. Use yourskills to make an impact Required

• Successful completion of MAschool/training program or a Certified/Registered Medical Assistantor 5 years of experience and approval from Provider
• High schooldiploma or equivalent
• CPR Certified
• This role is consideredpatient facing and is part of the company’s Tuberculosis (TB)screening program. If selected for this role, you will be requiredto be screened for TB Preferred
• Certified or Registered -(Arizona, Indiana, & South Carolina candidates require MedicalAssistant Certification or Registration)
• Phlebotomy experience
• Medication/vaccine administration experience
• 1 years MAexperience
• Value Based Care experience including knowledge of

HEDIS, CPT/ICD

coding, and

CAHPS/HOS

Patient Experience.

• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish – must passproficiency exam prior to foreign language communication ScheduledWeekly Hours 40 Pay Range The compensation range below reflects agood faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hoursper week) employment at the time of posting.
