The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality outpatient care, assisting with patient services, and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical facility. This position involves working in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and excellent communication skills are essential. Responsibilities Assist nurse practitioner with patient examinations and procedures in an outpatient clinic setting. Prepare patients for examinations by taking vital signs, short medical history, remove shoes and socks, and obtain pre-procedure pictures. Assist with documenting in the electronic record under the supervision of the nurse practitioner. Obtain consent to treat form from patient, collect co-payments, and schedule next follow-up visit. Ensure cleanliness and organization of the examination room and medical instruments. Experience Previous experience in an outpatient clinic or office setting is preferred, particularly in roles involving direct patient care including foot care services. Knowledge of medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team. Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) is required prior to employment or must be obtained shortly after hiring.
