Responsibilities Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures in a medical-surgical setting. Prepare and maintain examination rooms, ensuring they are clean and stocked with necessary supplies. Perform basic clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, administering injections, and collecting specimens. Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR). Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow. Communicate effectively with patients regarding their care plans and follow-up instructions. Collaborate with internal medicine specialists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care. Participate in emergency medicine situations as needed, demonstrating quick thinking and effective response.
