Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Medical Assistant with allergy experience to join our healthcare team. As a Medical Assistant, you will provide vital support to healthcare professionals in delivering quality patient care. Your role will involve a combination of administrative and clinical tasks, ensuring smooth operations and excellent patient service.

Duties:

• Perform basic medical procedures, such as taking vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiratory rate)
• Assist healthcare professionals with examinations, treatments, and procedures
• Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, and managing patient records.
• Ensure accurate documentation of patient information and medical histories
• Prepare examination rooms with necessary supplies and equipment
• Educate patients on medication administration and provide instructions for at-home care
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the medical facility
• Adhere to infection control protocols and maintain a safe environment for patients and staff

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Medical Assistant or in a similar role preferred
• Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems, ECW
• Proficiency in basic life support (BLS) techniques
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; completion of a Medical Assistant program preferred
• Certification as a Medical Assistant is a plus
