Medical Assistant Trinity Heart and Vascular Group, PLLC Greeneville, TN 37745 Trinity Heart and Vascular Group, PLLC, led by Dr. Dan O’Roark, is an independent sub-specialty medical practice seeking two (2) Part-Time Medical Assistants (MA) to aid in patient care and general office operations at our Greeneville and Johnson City, TN offices (one position per office with minimal cross coverage). The ideal candidate should be an MA with 1-2 years of experience, possess strong communication and typing skills, be proficient in venipuncture/phlebotomy, and have experience with electronic medical records. Hourly wage will be competitive and based on experience and skill set. Vaccinations are not required. Responsibilities Interview patients and document basic medical history Organize and schedule appointments Arrange and laboratory services Assist during medical examinations Produce and distribute correspondence memos, letters, faxes and forms Handle receivable and payable accounts and keep financial records Prepare and clean treatment rooms and medical instruments Skills Proven working experience as a medical assistant is a plus Knowledge of medical office EHR systems is a plus. Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritize work Social perceptiveness and service-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong organizational and planning skills 1-2 years experience with venipuncture/phlebotomy
