Your Role as Medical Assistant Assisting with procedural preparation, including patient readiness and ensuring the room is fully equipped. Opening sterile instruments with precision and adherence to protocol. Retrieving necessary tools, medications, and supplies efficiently to support clinical procedures. Maintaining the integrity of the sterile field throughout each procedure. Ensuring supplies are consistently stocked and organized in preparation for upcoming cases. Providing post-operative support to help patients transition comfortably and confidently. Responding to patient inquiries via phone or in person, providing timely and accurate information. Conducting patient assessments and obtaining vital signs, medical histories, and current medications. EDUCATION
Current documentation of a National Certification for the Registered Medical Assistant (RMA), Certified Medical Assistant preferred (CMA).
EXPERIENCE
2 years of medical/surgical experience is preferred, but a less qualified candidate may be considered.
