The ideal candidate will be responsible for working with foot and ankle disorders, providing comprehensive care to patients of all ages. This role requires a strong understanding of podiatric medicine, including orthopedics, geriatrics, and dermatology, as well as the ability to work effectively in a clinical setting. Duties Able to assist with nail trimming and / or callus trimming. Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs. Assisting with surgical procedures when necessary, ensuring patient safety and comfort. Documentation and e-scribing to assist with the documentation with a patient’s visit. Prior authorizations, documentation sent for orders including but not limited to labs, prescriptions, radiology/CT/MRI and other orders. Maintain accurate documentation on patient records. Check and document vital signs and assess overall health during patient visits. Stay updated on advancements in podiatric medicine and surgery. Experience Experience in a clinical setting is preferred; familiarity with medicine is a plus. Knowledge of geriatrics and dermatology as they relate to podiatric care is advantageous. Strong understanding of human anatomy, particularly pertaining to the lower extremities is appreciated. Proficiency in assessing vital signs and utilizing medical electronic medical records for patient management including scanning and filing documentation. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team while demonstrating excellent communication skills.
