• Responsibilities

• Job Summary:

• Responsible for assisting physicians and nurses in providing quality patient care.

• Essential Responsibilities:

• + Collect appropriate data and perform testing to prepare patient for physician visit.

+ Maintain patient flow through the clinic. + Pull patient voicemails and process messages to the nurses as appropriate. + Complete patient refills as requested by both patient and pharmacy, ensuring appropriate labs are ordered as needed and protocol is followed. + Assist nurses with patient messages as necessary. + Assist nurses with reviewing physician blue book as necessary.

• Qualifications

• Education:

• + Graduate from an accredited Medical Assistant Program

• License/Certification:

• + BLS Certification + AAMA-CMA, AMT-RMA, NCCT-NCMA or

NHA-CCMA

• Qualifications:

• + Medical office experience preferred.
