Medical Assistant RemX – 3.2 Knoxville, TN Job Details $17 – $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications 1 year Communication skills Certified Medical Assistant Entry level Full Job Description We are in need of well-organized, professional and compassionate Medical Assistant to support 3 facilities (minimal travel) in a clinical setting. Will be responsible for assessing patients, scheduling testing, providing patient education and rendering medical care under the supervision of a physician or nurse practitioner. Answer incoming calls and address concerns patients may have and communicate with providers. Provide instructions for scheduled diagnostic testing. Schedule endoscopic procedures and other testing, review preparation instructions for testing and assist the provider with physical examinations. Administer injections, fill out forms for prior approval of certain medications, review medical information portals to obtain data as requested by the practitioner. Enter data into EMR system, file incoming correspondence and records. 1-2+ years relevant work experience
