This position entails Medical Assistant responsibilities while being a part of a comprehensive team of providers.
Requirements:
Graduate of a medical assistant program. (New grads welcome.) Certified or Registered Medical Assistant. Obtain precertification for outpatient testing as needed. Processing of referrals. Schedule follow-up appointments. Assist in answering telephones in a pleasant manner. Keep all exam rooms stocked with necessary items. Gives injections, applies bracing, casting and durable medical equipment.
