As a CDS Outpatient Coder III, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely coding and documentation for our outpatient services.
Key Responsibilities:
Review and accurately code outpatient medical records using ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems Ensure compliance with all coding and documentation guidelines and regulations Conduct thorough documentation reviews to ensure accuracy and completeness Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to clarify documentation and ensure accurate coding Stay updated on all coding and documentation changes and updates Provide education and training to coding and documentation staff as needed Participate in coding audits and quality improvement initiatives Maintain confidentiality of all patient information and adhere to HIPAA regulations
Qualifications:
